Introduction

This is the personal site of Arne Brasseur. Here you will find my personal blog (in Dutch, my mother tongue), and various pages about the many things that interest me.

I'm very fond of languages. I grew up in a country with three official languages (Belgium), became fluent in English at a young age, and started studying Mandarin Chinese while at University.

I appreciate both the analytical and the holistic side of human nature, and as such am equally fond of computer science as of Taoist meditation.

Because creativity is a pure expression of love, and because without love we will perish, I try to cultivate certain forms of creative expression, including but not limited to making music, writing and cooking.

The current site was launched in the Summer of 2008. My old blog is still on-line.
