Days in the sun
So I've been going hard on the [tag]chinese[/tag] lately, I'll be doing both oral and written [tag]exams[/tag] on it soon so... Not that I have any worries about them. In fact the mood is surprisingly laid-back. I'm graduating this year so the uni exam drill isn't new for me anyway, still it's different each time. Normally I skip most of my classes and just study at home when the time comes. This year it's different in that I can't skip my chinese classes, (listening input is too important) so I can't do the "do what I want when I want to do it"-routine. Also it's been a long and cold winter, which I hate, and which has dragged me down a bit postponing the studying possibly a bit too long. Since yesterday the sun really started shining, so naturally I'll enjoy the weather first.
In a few weeks I'll definitly be doing many hours of studying a day, just not now. On wednesday the chinese department is giving a party, and everyone from the first year of modern chinese will perform a song. Here you can listen to someones karaoke perfomance of the song. It's about the olympic games in Beijing 2008. The singing is getting better after two rehearsals, now we need to work on the choreographie. Tonight I'll be [tag]sound engineering[/tag] on [tag]Cheezy[/tag] our weekly show on [tag]Urgent.fm[/tag], and after that there are bands performing in two different places in [tag]Gent[/tag]. The one band I really like to see is [tag]Grant Moff Tarkin[/tag]. Their lead singer has a great voice and great looks, a killer combo IMHO. I hope I'll be in time.
